I'm noticing a few changes on skritter, for instance when i get a word to write the strokes, the pinyin is read first and already shows up on screen and i'm pretty sure that I only heard the pinyin for each character after writing all the strokes for it and the pinyin for the word after the last character.

Is this behaviour changeable in settings?

You might need to re-enable the hidden reading option, if it somehow got disabled?
